The Pebble It was the earth’s crown jewel, Lying directly in my meditative path. Artistically crafted, polished, glowing… Waiting to be noticed, admired, used… In a vase, a plaque, a picture… How long had it been half embedded in the earth? Where was its origin? How had it arrived at this destination? I stooped, picked it up, dusted it, Put it in my pocket. I completed my walk contemplating A pebble’s potential! David chose 5 of these to slay a giant. A giant who taunted God’s people. A giant who challenged with his height, His armor…his audacity! But David…a giant for God, picked up his stones And skillfully, with one stone, Killed The Giant! God’s ways do not always manifest Themselves in the obvious. Sometimes, a very simple unorthodox method Can be used for His purposes.
