Paula K. wrote in recently to ask for prayer for her beloved mother, "MIMI".
MIMI has been in the hospital for more than a week, where she was diagnosed
with blood clots in her legs that have now traveled to her lungs. She is currently
in a nursing home In Humble, Texas, and needs the touch of the Holy Spirit to
take away this serious illness and heal her. I'm certain that while Paula sits by
her bedside stroking her mother's hand, that Jesus is standing across the bed
gently holding the other one.
If you look with your heart and not just your eyes Paula, you'll see Him.
I pray that MIMI knows God has her under His protective umbrella of love, and if
we all voice our trust in The Healer together...and completely...that he will bring
her through this condition so that she may continue bringing joy to the lives of all
the people that know and love her.

I need a prayer for myself. Sometimes I feel so lonely and lost. I need a prayer for my
unspoken request. Thank you!!
Tommie is new to us here at Tender Mercies, but has quickly become a dear friend.
A man who loves the Lord with all his heart, but is bound in the chains of addiction.
He fights valiantly, but there's no way to defeat this enemy without much prayer for
strength, and for the Holy Spirit to intercede between him and the demon that's
trying to kill him.
For many years, I walked the path that Tommie is on now, and I wore those same
chains. I know from personal experience that addiction is like being locked in a
room with a nightmare, and can destroy not only the addict, but everyone close to
him or her. We're calling on all the power and promises of God, and intercessory
prayer from every direction in this fight for life.
