Motherhood

In God's architectural design, He deemed it appropriate, for women to be the bearers of children.

What a great honor and awesome responsibility to be nurturers of immaturity!

He ordained that mothers cradle their babies in His reflective love, thus creating in them a high trust level with you!
He honored mothers by allowing us to be a child's first teacher---a teacher of Godly values and principles---providing
guidelines and standards that shall enable them to enjoy freedom and live productively.

He enables mothers to recognize the vast potentiality that we hold in our sphere of influence---an entity more
precious than all our material possessions.  These shall rust and tarnish, but this child is an eternal soul with an
eternal destiny.

He has allowed mothers to realize that within the confines of this nurturing process is a necessity for discipline.  We
are to do so in love, not in anger.  There is liberty in Godly discipline.  He also disciplines mothers.

He has assured mothers of renewal and refreshing when our patience is not mature and our strength is dehydrated
from the labors of the day!

He allows mothers to have a Righteous anger, which protects our child from harm and evil influences.  This too is a
quality of love.

He furnishes mothers with insight, which allows us to recognize that it is love and wisdom to loose our children that
they may go forth to make choices within their own dimensions and establish their own identities.

He has promised mothers that we are never alone.  He will provide the resources needed for this momentous
responsibility, when we focus on Him.

He allows mothers to have vision---to see beyond today---to image in our hearts what our child can become.

We are not without guidelines, nor honor as He has bestowed upon us the precious gift of Motherhood!

Our Father:

When our timetable for the growth of our child is not Yours nor our child's, enable us to be patient. We are reminded
that You are standing in the shadows, waiting for us to allow You to take our hand and grow toward maturity---into
God Likeness!!!

Amen
